IDP News is the regular newsletter of IDP. It aims to keep IDP members, supporters, patrons and others informed about its work, progress in scholarship, conservation, new finds, and other areas of interest.
The first issue was produced in early 1994 to announce the founding of IDP and its objectives. Since then IDP News has grown in size and is now a 16-page colour newsletter produced twice yearly in both hard copy and electronic versions. These are available for free. To receive your copy please complete the form.
IDP welcomes short contributions to the newsletter, including articles, reports of work in progress, book notices, advances in conservation and conservation science and other relevant items. It also accepts advertising. Please send any contributions directly to the editor.
Information about IDP is also published regularly in Chinese in The Newsletter of the International Liaison Committee for Dunhuang Studies. For details contact Professor Hao Chunwen. Key articles from past copies of the newsletter are being translated into Chinese and made available on the Chinese IDP web site.
