Description
Scope and content : Clay plaque showing the round face of a man. He has deep-set eyes, a wide nose, a long beard and a moustache. His hair is brushed upwards and held by a band. The object was made using a mould and was covered with a white slip beforw being fired. It was probably used as an appliqu for a vessel.
