Description
Scope and content : Photographic album containing prints of the Dunhuang Mogao caves given to Raghu Vira by Chang Shuhong of the Dunhuang Institute in 1955. The 37 prints have been removed but the labels giving the cave numbers remain. They include caves 55, 57, 59, 79, 130, 196, 204, 206, 207, 244, 248, 261, 290, 297, 323, 362, 384, 417, 420, 422, 424. Photo 1274/1(180A & B) shows Chang Shuhong presenting this album to Raghu Vira on 4/6/1955.
