Description

Scope and content : Stein Dunhuang manuscript. Very fine hemp paper of 6th c. or earlier if the date on the scroll is anything to go by (506 AD). Thin, crisp and has a sheen. DCP. Clapperton has ramie, C&M have it as hemp/ramie 50/50.
