Description
Scope and content : A manuscript of the Buddhist scripture Śālistamba Sūtra in Tibetan translation, found at the Endere Fort by Aurel Stein on his first expedition. Since the fort may have been abandoned by the Tibetan army earlier than their other Central Asian forts, this is one of the earliest surviving Tibetan Buddhist manuscripts.
