Scope and content : Despatch from the Government of India, Foreign Department (Secret/Frontier), to the Secretary of State for India, dated Simla 23 July 1886, forwarding papers principally relating to the Afghan Boundary Commission.Includes: Enclosure No. 3, report by Sub-Surveyor Imam Sharif on the route survey from Obeh to Zarni and on to Daulatyar; No. 4, report by Imam Sharif on his second trip in the Taiman country between September and October 1885; No. 5, reporting interception of Mission correspondence by the Afghan authorities; No. 6, letter from the Amir to the Viceroy, responding to the latter's letter of 11 June, regarding their disagreements over the Mission's work.
