Description
Scope and content : Wall sherd of a ceramic vessel. The outside of the wheel-thrown vessel was decorated with an appliqu in the shape of a lion's head. The animal is shown in full frontal view, head surrounded by the mane. Right above the lion, the remains of a handle can still be seen. The vessel was further decorated with incised lines.
