Description
Scope and content : The buildings constructed during Amanullah鱠reign (1919_29) embody his attempts to reform and modernize Afghanistan. Taken by an unknown photographer, on the top left is the Stor palace (now the Ministry of Foreign Affairs); top right is the Ministry of War (since demolished); bottom left is the Habibia Lycee (partly demolished) and bottom right is the Persian legation (demolished).
