String sandal. The sole is formed by a think string that was plaited and then coiled flat and bound together. Round the edge of the complete sole is a series of short strings, each of them doubled and twisted to leave two loops at the top. The strings are gathered in two groups around the heel and the toes and through the loops two thick string were pulled which were drawn tight to fasten the shoe firmly. The heal and toe are reinforced by additional bindings of string.

Shoe made of brown woolen fabric lined with felt. The uppers are formed by one strip of material and seamed up at the toes. Fabric and lining have been quilted together by parallel rows of stitching. The sole was made of a doubly interwoven hemp and goat's hair string and a felt patch has been applied to both heel and toe. A felt gusset covered with an ornamental stitching joins the edges of the uppers over the toes.

Shoe made of dark brown woolen fabric and lined with felt. Fabric and felt are quilted together by close-set parallel rows of stitching in dark brown wollen yarn. Above the toe-seam, the edges of the uppers are joined by a felt gusset covered with ornament open-work stitching in dark brown. The opening of the shoe is lined with a dark blue woolen fabric forming a sort of half-boot and pinned at the side of the ankle where it is finished off in a fringe.
