Description
Scope and content : Despatch dated 1 January 1875, addressed to the Marquess of Salisbury, Secretary of State for India, containing printed copies of of the Kabul Diary from 11-14 December 1874 and two letters from the Agent at Kabul dated 14 December 1874: 'The second of these letters reports the terms in which the Ameer acknowledged our message on the subject of the arrest of Sirdar Mahomed Yakoob Khan. We do not consider it advisable to interfere further in the matter.'
