Scope and content : No. 35 in I. Vincent's wallet captioned 'A-5 cave & 9 storey pagoda' Reproduced as Plate 5, Irene Vongehr Vincent, 'The Sacred Oasis' (London, 1953), with the caption: 'A view of the cliff and chapels. The Nine Storey Building is on the right. The lines of two verandahs built by the Tun Huang Institute appear in the lefthand portion. The ante-chapels here have been partially destroyed.'
