Description
Scope and content : In this group, Sher Ali is seen with some of the officials who acted as his escort through British territory after the Ambala durbar. Seated on the left is Henry Bellew, who acted as an interpreter at the durbar. Colonel Frederick Pollock, Commissioner of Peshawar, stands behind, with the Indian Army officer Colonel Crawford Chamberlain on the right.
