Description
Scope and content : This was acquired by the British Consul-General in Kashgar, N. Fitzmaurice, Esq., and presented to the British Museum on 14 July 1923. It is probably from around Dandan-Uliq. Transcription, translation and text in Konow 1939: 21-24. Skjaervo 2002.

Situated between the Khotan and Keriya rivers, and approximately 50 miles north of Domoko which is on the southern arm of the Silk Road.
Excavation history : Stein excavated here between 19 Dec. 1900 and 3 Jan. 1901 (see Stein 1907: 237-303).
