Description
Scope and content : Modern facsimile of a Han period Chinese woodslip page created by Robert Davies of British Library Conservation and Imre Galambos of IDP, for the British Library 2004 exhibition 'The Silk Road: Trade, Travel, War and Faith.' it shows how the slips were fastened together to form a 'page'. The notches for the string ties can be seen on some of the original slips.
